ND Brown exhibits at ‘HAUC West Midlands 2013’

Following on from the success of the North Wales HAUC show in July of this year ND Brown, attended the West Midlands HAUC Show in September exhibiting a 32 ton GVW Tipper Grab, a 21ton GVW Roadmender and the 7.5 ton GVW Twin Chamber Hot Box. BTE Plant Sales also provided a Terex MBR Roller for the exhibition.

The increasing demand for the specialist vehicles that we provide to the municipal, civil engineering, utility and highway maintenance markets is mirrored by the interest we are receiving at such events.

Today, our national client base, doesn’t have the CapEx budget in place for the specialist hardware, but the reactive and planned maintenance must continue. This is where we come in. We supply the equipment they need to fix the roads and solve the problem with the flexibility they need to balance their budgets.

Contractors and their operators are realising that it just makes sense to fix the problem first time with an asphalt kept at a consistent and workable temperature. The use of asphalt in repairs and reinstatements that has lost too much temperature will guarantee failure and thus mean a drastic increase in costs as a result of material loss, tip to waste - prompting environmental concerns, and a re-visit at a later date. All increasingly unacceptable to budget holders. This in turn means that the demand for our equipment and services has never been greater.

ND Brown operate a comparatively young fleet and take full responsibility for maintained and testing them to the highest of standards which in turn promotes reliability, flexibility and confidence to the industry.
